Veterinary products manufacturer Johnson’s received two major awards at the recent PetIndex exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham.
The Pet Product Retail Association’s awards of
“Best New Product 2005″
and
“Best Innovation 2005″
were awarded to Johnson’s for the company’s “4?fleas” range of oral tablets for dogs and puppies, cats and kittens.
Johnson’s sales director Iain Sands was delighted with the award, commenting,
“It is always pleasing to receive an accolade for a new product, and I am delighted with these awards. The product was launched a few months ago and already has been very well-received in the trade, so to receive these awards is the icing on the cake.”
Johnson’s 4fleas range of tablets is the first-ever oral treatment for the eradication of fleas on cats and dogs to be available over the counter and without prescription.
The product has been supported by a major £3/4m advertising campaign, which highlights the 4fleas product in a 30-second TV commercial shown over the summer and reaching over a quarter of the adult population of the UK.
